In 1987, I founded transmaritim in Stuttgart as a “two-man company” and laid the foundations for an international success story. Entirely under the premise: Growth can only exist in harmony with financial independence and by means of flat corporate structures.

Our highly valued and qualified employees work at the head office in Stuttgart as well as at the locations in Munich, Frankfurt and Hamburg.

I still run the company today and we have become internationally acknowledged specialists for air freight and sea freight with a global network.

Being trained since January 2023, my daughter Theresa is now following up in the second generation and we are looking forward to everything that is to come.

“Die Jungen Unternehmer e.V.” is an association that promotes young entrepreneurs. As part of this network, we have access to numerous events, seminars and workshops that help us to further develop our knowledge and skills and run our company successfully.

The “Verband Spedition und Logistik Baden-Württemberg e.V.” (VSL) is an important industry association that represents the interests of freight forwarding and logistics companies in the region. As a member of this association, we receive important information and resources that help us stay on top of the latest developments in our industry and continuously improve our business practices.

We are not only represented by the association in Baden-Württemberg, we are also a member of the “Verein Hamburger Spediteure e.V.” (VHSp) in Hamburg and are pleased to be part of this association. As a member of the VHSp, we have access to a broad network of freight forwarders and logistics experts in the Hamburg region. This membership enables us to participate in events, expand our industry knowledge and make valuable contacts.
